On Friday, April 12, 2024, Commissioner Woodward took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for FloSpine’s new headquarters, located at the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. The commissioner was joined by FloSpine President and CEO Peter Harris, FloSpine Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Afshar, and FloSpine Co-Founder Waldi Harris, as well as Boca Raton City Council Member Fran Nachlas and Research Park at FAU President Andrew Duffell. After the ceremony, the commissioner toured the FloSpine facility.
