All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please call (561) 629-8760 or visit the nature center to make program reservations. Fees (if applicable) are due the day of the program by cash or check only. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form for every program. If you are more than 5 minutes late to a program for which you have made a reservation, your spot may be given to a person on the waiting list. 

ANIMAL FEEDINGS
Daily, 3:15-3:30 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
3:15 p.m. is feeding time! Listen to a short talk about one of Daggerwing’s resident animals and then watch while it’s fed. Wednesday - Opossum; Thursday - Snake; Friday - Owl; Saturday - Alligator

BIRDING 101
Saturday, May 6, 10:30 a.m.
All ages, $3/person (Reservations required)
Learn about the exciting hobby of bird watching. Join a naturalist for a family friendly program that will teach how to use binoculars and field guides to identify birds and then practice those skills on the boardwalk.

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: TURTLES
Tuesday, May 9, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 5+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about turtles featuring a visit from the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the West Boca Branch Library! Call the West Boca Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 470-1600.

MOTHER NATURE & ME: A IS FOR ALLIGATOR
Tuesday, May 16, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/ guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

MOTHER NATURE & ME: STORMY WEATHER
Tuesday, May 23, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/ guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)

Can owls really turn their heads all the way around?  Could a turtle crawl out of its shell? Come find out the truth about many common animal myths and meet several of the nature center’s live education animals!
