​What: This year is a big anniversary for the Friends of Green Cay Nature Center: it is their 10th year hosting Migration Celebration! This year’s theme, “Helping Birds along the Way,” celebrates the importance of migratory bird stopover sites such as Green Cay. This year, several activities are back by popular demand in addition to some fun, new activities:
• Take part in the annual Big Sit
• Face painting
• Check out numerous educational exhibitors
• Attend family-friendly lectures, with topics such as birds of prey, bats and manatees
• Join new, themed guided tours such as ethnobotany, photography or birding for kids
• Explore the laboratory, normally closed to the public
• Take-home plant craft
• And much more!

When: Saturday, December 2, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Where: Green Cay Nature Center
