Palm Beach County Golf Instructors Qualify for Inaugural U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship

Body

Annette Deluca and Barb Bunskowsky, both part of the Golf Professional Services staff at Park Ridge Golf Course, will represent Palm Beach County in the inaugural U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship at the Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois, July 12-15, 2018. Both played their way into the event through sectional qualifying.

Barb Bunskowsky has been a staff member of Golf Professional Services at Park Ridge Golf Course for 4 years. She played her qualifier at LPGA International in Daytona, Florida and punched her ticket with a 75. Annette Deluca splits her time between Palm Beach County and North Carolina and has worked with Golf Professional Services for more than 5 years. Annette Deluca shot a 78 at Conway Farms in Lake Forest, Illinois to grab her spot in the inaugural event.

Donna White, owner of Golf Professional Services, was also given an exemption to play in the event as a former U.S. Amateur champion, but has declined to play due to her retirement from competition. She will instead cheer on her two instructors, as will the rest of the Palm Beach County Golf family.
