​All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please call (561) 233-1400 or visit the nature center to make program reservations. Please make reservations at least two days in advance. Fees (if applicable) are due upon arrival to the program by form of cash or check. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form for every program. If you are more than five minutes late to a program you have made a reservation for, your spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.

REPTILE FEEDING
Wednesdays, 3:15 p.m. & Saturdays, 1:00 p.m.
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)

OWL FEEDING
Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. 
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)

SNAKE FEEDING
Fridays, 3:15 p.m.
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)

JUNIOR NATURALIST: INVERTEBRATES
Saturday, October 6, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8-14, $10/participant (Reservations required)
In this hands-on class just for kids, learn all about insects and other creatures that scurry, fly, hop, and crawl! Participants will investigate live and preserved specimens using microscopes and magnifiers and even make a bug catcher to take home!    
 
DEER AND RAPTOR WALK
Saturday, October 20, 10:30 a.m. 
Families/ages 8+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Go on a “behind the scenes” tour of the deer and raptor compounds to see the animals up close and learn about these unique creatures! Please wear close-toed shoes for this walking tour. Please note: This program is not stroller or wheelchair accessible.

NATURE WALK
Saturday, October 27, 10:30 a.m.
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)
Go on a FREE guided nature walk through the pine flatwoods ecosystem and learn about the plants and animals that live right here in the local community.
