The “All-Star Team” formed from PGA Jr. League matches at Osprey Point Golf Course, Okeeheelee Golf Course and Park Ridge Golf course is headed to the Regional Championship at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida on September 22 and 23.

This Palm Beach County team bested both the Sandhill Crane Golf Course team and the Indian River Golf Foundation team to win the Section Championship, moving on to the Regional Championship. This puts them one step closer to the National Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona this November.

"The PGA Junior League Program offered an incredible team playing experience to our junior golfers this summer. Our championship team is comprised of players from 3 different county courses which is a testament to the partnership and support provided by Palm Beach Parks and Recreation Department to our youth golfers as well as each programs organizer,” said President of the JGFA at Okeeheelee and Park Ridge Golf Courses Mary Lee Cobick.

The Palm Beach County team is made up of Rafael Frias, Emanuel Lim, Elijiah Zamarron, Corbin Scott, Oscar Crowe, Madison Lowenstein, Garrett Weadock, Anna Balmer, Mason Tome, Namo Sae-Chiw and Captain Don Law.

Osprey Point Golf Course, Okeeheelee Golf Course and Park Ridge Golf Course are operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. For more information on county-operated golf courses, visit www.pbcgolf.com.
