What: Spend the day on Riverbend Park’s Turn of the Century Farmstead. Experience what pioneer life was like back then and how technology changed a way of life. Visit the belt driven sawmill and watch sawyers cut and plane logs into boards. Yesteryear Village partners will be on site to show crafts and riding demonstrations of the period. Florida Flywheelers will also be on site with antique tractors, engines and other inventions that made getting the job done easier back in the day. Make sure to visit the animal pens, help press sugar cane and listen to Judge Nelson Bailey share his tales of Florida Crackers. Toys, games and a craft table will be available for kids. Blue Cypress Bluegrass will play under the chickee hut. Wind Chase Farms will provide carriage rides and food trucks will be on site.
