All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please call (561) 629-8760 or visit the nature center to make program reservations.  Fees (if applicable) are due the day of the program by cash or check only.  All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form for every program.  If you are more than 5 minutes late to a program for which you have made a reservation, your spot may be given to a person on the waiting list. 

ANIMAL FEEDINGS
Daily, 3:15-3:30 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
3:15 p.m. is feeding time! Listen to a short talk about one of Daggerwing’s resident animals and then watch while it’s fed. Wednesday - Opossum; Thursday - Snake; Friday - Owl; Saturday - Alligator

MOTHER NATURE & ME: WILD WEBS
Tuesday, December 4, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

ANIMAL ENRICHMENT WORKSHOP
Saturday, December 8, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
What does an animal like to do for fun? Learn how Daggerwing Nature Center cares for the animals with “enrichment” and help create some hands-on enrichment items for the animals’ enjoyment! 

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: TURTLES
Tuesday, December 11, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 5+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about turtles, featuring a visit from the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the Glades Road Branch Library! Call the Glades Road Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 482-  4554.

ANIMAL TRIVIA
Saturday, December 15, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Can owls really turn their heads all the way around? Could a turtle crawl out of its shell? Find out the truth about many common animal myths and meet several of the nature center’s live animals up close!   

MOTHER NATURE & ME: DAY AT THE BEACH
Tuesday, December 18, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)

WETLAND ANIMALS
Saturday, December 29, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Learn about the animals that live in the wetlands and how they are adapted for life in this habitat.  Live collection animals will be featured during the presentation to enhance the educational experience!
