At the "Adopt Your Boo" Adoption Event, the community will have the opportunity to meet their new four-legged family member while enjoying a wide range of activities and incentives.  PBCACC is making it easier than ever to adopt a new furry friend by waiving adoption fees at this event.

The event will be full of family fun! Cool off with a delicious treat with some free ice cream (noon to 1 p.m.).  Children attending the event will receive exciting Halloween favors to add a touch of spooky fun to their day. Face painters will be there to add help provide the look of favorite Halloween characters. Attendees can participate in a raffle with prizes worth over $500. The first five adopters will receive a special gift basket filled with pet goodies and a complimentary training session to ensure a seamless transition for their new furry friend. PBCACC's adoptable pets will be dressed in their Halloween best and will participate in a costume contest judged by Commissioner Maria G. Marino and Commissioner Marci Woodward. There will be local pet vendors with a variety of pet-related products and services at the event.  And, don't miss the chance to explore a real fire rescue truck, courtesy of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
