All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please call (561) 233-1400 or visit the nature center to make program reservations. Please make reservations at least two days in advance. Fees (if applicable) are due upon arrival to the program by form of cash or check. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form for every program. If you are more than five minutes late to a program you have made a reservation for, your spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.

CANOEING 101
Saturday, February 2, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 10+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Learn the basics of how to safely canoe in this two-hour program. Equipment is provided. This special outdoor adventure takes place in the more secluded south section of Okeeheelee Park. Space is limited.
YOGA IN NATURE
Saturday, February 9, 9:00 a.m.
Ages 12+, $15/participant (Reservations required)
Enjoy a 60-minute slow yoga class outdoors while learning about nature! Each month, the program will focus on a different animal or habitat theme. An optional live animal encounter will follow each class. The class is taught by a nature center naturalist, who is also a certified yoga instructor.
JUNIOR NATURALIST: PLANTS

In this hands-on class just for kids, discover the amazing world of plants and learn how they grow, make seeds, defend themselves, and more. Each child will make and take home their own bottle terrarium.
OWL PROWL: CAMPFIRE STORIES

Visit the nature center after hours to learn about the animals that prowl their forest at night and meet a few of their resident nocturnal creatures. Then, make s’mores and tell tales around the campfire!
NATURE WALK

Go on a FREE guided nature walk through the pine flatwoods ecosystem and learn about the plants and animals that live right here in the local community.
