All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com​; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment.  All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form at the start of every program.

ANIMAL FEEDINGS
Daily, 3:15-3:30 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
3:15 p.m. is feeding time! Listen to a short talk about one of Daggerwing’s resident animals and then watch while it’s fed. Wednesday - Opossum; Thursday - Snake; Friday - Owl; Saturday – Alligator

MOTHER NATURE & ME: WILD WEBS
Tuesday, October 1, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

RADICAL REPTILES
Saturday, October 5, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Join a naturalist for a family-friendly program focusing on the amazing world of reptiles! Learn about these diverse scaly creatures and meet some resident reptiles up close and personal.

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: SNAKES
Tuesday, October 8, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 8+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program featuring a visit from the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the Glades Road Branch Library! Call the Glades Road Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 482-4554.

ANIMAL KEEPER FOR A DAY
Wednesday, October 9, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Animal keepers have the coolest job! Work behind the scenes with animal care staff and volunteers to feed diets, clean exhibits, and provide enrichments to the animals at the nature center. Learn what it takes to care for these special animal ambassadors.

MOTHER NATURE & ME: NIGHT CREATURES

SPECIAL EVENT: HOOT ‘N’ HOWL
Friday, October 25, 6:00 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
Bring the kids in costume and enjoy not-so-scary Halloween games and crafts* while learning about nocturnal creatures such as owls, toads, snakes and spiders! *While supplies last.
