Join a naturalist for a guided walk exploring the trails of Riverbend Park. It’s a great way to become familiar with the plant and animal communities, trails and historic events of the park.
Join USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff to learn about archery! This exciting program teaches archery safety and how to properly use the equipment before getting to practice on the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children.
Join a naturalist on a moonlit, nighttime bike ride. See the park after hours and look at nature from the point of view of its nocturnal residents. Appropriate safety gear and water is required. Bring your own bike or rent from the park vendor, Jupiter Outdoor Center, 561-746-7053.

FISHING FUN

This event highlights the little-known history of the allied Native and African American Seminole Maroons and their bravery during the Seminole Wars, and features rituals/ceremonies, lectures, exhibitors, vendors and more. Presented by the Florida Black Historical Research Project, Inc. in cooperation with the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists. This event takes place at Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park (adjacent to Riverbend Park).
182ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE LOXAHATCHEE REENACTMENT

There will be period dressed reenactors, US Army and Seminole camps, exhibitors, guest speakers, battlefield tours, weapons demonstrations and a battle reenactment. Food trucks will be at the event. Join a naturalist on a walk and observe the change from diurnal to nocturnal in the park. Good walking shoes and bug spray are recommended.
