All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com​; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment.  All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form and COVID-19 Waiver before each program. Programs will adhere to all state, county orders and CDC guidelines.

SENSATIONAL SNAKES
Saturday, December 12, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Learn all about snakes from a naturalist including how to identify the most common snakes found in southern Florida. After, meet some of the nature center’s slithering residents up close!
 
INTRO TO ARCHERY 
Tuesday, December 22, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join the USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff and learn about the sport of archery. This exciting program teaches archery safety skills and proper use of a bow and arrow before getting time to practice on the range.
 
WETLAND ANIMALS
Saturday, December 26, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required) 
Learn about the animals that live in the wetlands and how they are adapted for life in this habitat. Live collection animals will be featured during the presentation to enhance the educational experience!
 
DIP NETTING
Wednesday, December 30, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Find out what creatures naturally live in the water of our wetlands! Collect tiny pond animals and then observe and identify your findings. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and closed-toed shoes that can get wet/muddy.
