All programs are by reservation only.  Fee programs require payment at the time of registration/reservation. You can register and pay online at www.pbcparks.com​. Please select “Online Services”, choose “Register/Pay for Program” from the drop-down menu, click the “Nature” icon, and then search for the program by name. You must login or create a new household account before registering. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form and COVID-19 Waiver before each program.

REMARKABLE REPTILES
Saturday, August 7, 1:00 p.m.
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Uncover the truth about some of the world’s most misunderstood animals—reptiles! Learn about the characteristics that make reptiles so unique and discover the important roles they play in our environment. You’ll meet some of ONC’s reptile ambassadors up-close and even get to watch a snake eat a meal!

ONC BEHIND THE SCENES
Tuesday, August 10, 3:30 p.m.
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Take a behind the scenes tour to see where our outdoor animals live when they are not “working”. You will get to feed our white-tailed deer and meet several other animals up-close while learning all about them! 

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Friday, August 20, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Learn the basics of archery from safety to shooting and develop a great new skill! All equipment is provided. Space is limited.

GUIDED NATURE WALK
Saturday, August 28, 10:30 a.m.
Families/all ages, FREE (Reservations required)
Join an ONC Naturalist for a guided nature walk through our pine flatwoods forest and learn about the animals and plants that live in this habitat. Please bring binoculars if you have them.
