Wheelchair Lacrosse  Coach Development Clinic

The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and Endless Possibilities for the Disabled, Inc., with support from Move United and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, will be hosting a Wheelchair Lacrosse Coach Development Clinic on Saturday, September 18 – Sunday, September 19, 2021. The clinic will be held at the West Boynton Park and Recreation Center, Roller Hockey Rink located at 6000 Northtree Boulevard. 

The training is available at no cost to any Veterans, VA staff and adaptive sport providers who would like to learn to teach adaptive wheelchair lacrosse using specialized equipment and instruction techniques. Attendees will learn an overview of lacrosse history, skill development techniques, fundamental skills of the game, and gameplay. While past lacrosse or adaptive sport experience is helpful, attendees are not required to meet specific skills or experience prerequisites. If you have your own lacrosse stick and equipment, please feel free to bring it. If not, all equipment will be provided. Attendees should dress in athletic clothing and bring their own water
