1/3/22 UPDATE -- this event is sold out, please call the nature center to be added to the waitlist
Friends of Okeeheelee Nature Center will host Raptor Day for Nature Photographers on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at Okeeheelee Nature Center in Okeeheelee Park.

Several different species of birds of prey will be on display in a natural, outdoor setting. Every effort will be made to place the animals in optimal lighting with excellent backgrounds. After a short introduction of our resident rehabilitated birds and a briefing of rules, raptors will be put on natural perches and photographers are free to photograph at their own pace.

Tickets are $40 per person and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. Tickets can be purchased with a credit card by phone at 561-564-8663. For registration and event details, contact Okeeheelee Nature Center at 561-233-1400.

Please note, this event is not handicap-accessible. Participants must be 15 years of age. Minor participants must be accompanied by one adult guardian.

All proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the birds, programs and exhibits at Okeeheelee Nature Center and are tax deductible.
