All programs are by reservation only.  Fee programs require payment at the time of registration/reservation. You can register and pay online at www.pbcparks.com. Please select “Online Services”, choose “Register/Pay for Program” from the drop-down menu, click the “Nature” icon, and then search for the program by name. You must login or create a new household account before registering. 

REMARKABLE REPTILES
Saturday, February 12, 1:00 p.m.
Families/all ages, $3/person (Reservations required)
Uncover the truth about some of the world’s most misunderstood      animals—reptiles. You’ll meet some of ONC’s reptile ambassadors and even get to watch a snake eat a meal! 

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Tuesday, February 15, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/person (Reservations required)
Learn the basics of archery from safety to shooting and develop a great new skill. All equipment is provided. Space is limited.

ADVANCED ARCHERY**
Tuesday, February 15, 12:00 p.m.
Ages 8+, $10/person (Reservations required)
**Prerequisite: Must have completed Archery for Beginners**
This program is for those already familiar with the basics of archery. Develop your archery skills further as we teach advanced techniques and practice aim and precision. All equipment is provided. Space is limited.

DEER-LY LOVED HEARTS & CRAFTS
Saturday, February 19, 10:30 a.m.
Families/all ages, $3/person (Reservations required)
Are you fawned of ONC’s white-tailed deer? Join us for a heart-filled Valentine’s Day themed craft and an opportunity to meet the deer of Okeeheelee Nature Center. 

BIRDING 101
Thursday, February 24, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 15+, $3/person​ (Reservations required)
Learn to identify south Florida’s birds. We’ll discuss characteristics such as foot and beak shape, flight silhouettes, coloration, diet, and habitats. Then you’ll apply your new-found knowledge during a walk. 
Please bring binoculars if you have them.
