Approximately 100 youngsters with disabilities from western Palm Beach County will take part in the 25th Annual A4AFL-PBC West Festival “Dinosaur Safari.” The festival will be held at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center at Palm Beach State College Glades Campus in Belle Glade on February 18, 2022 and is sponsored by Arts4All Florida-Palm Beach County.

The A4AFL-PBC West Festival provides children of all abilities an opportunity to showcase their achievements in the arts and to be exposed to new visual and performing arts experiences. Children from schools in Belle Glade will perform, produce and experience thematic art in several forms through visual and performing arts.

“Dinosaur Safari” experiences include visual and performing arts activities headed by artists from throughout South Florida. The artists Tracey Rosof-Petersen, Steven Brouse and Jose Mendez along with ESE/FDLRS staff will direct the young students in dinosaur safari themed visual arts projects. Projects include drawing, mixed media, sculpture, painting and wearable art. Artists Kat Kenny, Kali DeCarlo and Buckley Griffis will lead the students through interactive performing arts activities including improv, dance and music.

West Festival is sponsored by businesses and individuals from western Palm Beach County.
