All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form and COVID-19 Waiver before each program.  

MOTHER NATURE & ME: START YOUR GARDEN
Tuesday, March 1, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: ALLIGATORS
Tuesday, March 8, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 8+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about alligators featuring a visit from the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the Glades Road Branch Library! Call the Glades Road Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 482-4554.

NIGHT HIKE 
Friday, March 11, 6:30 p.m.
Ages 8+, $5/person (Reservations required)
Always wondered what Daggerwing’s boardwalk would be like after dark? Learn about nocturnal animals and join a naturalist on a tour of the boardwalk at night!

FISHING FUN
Wednesday, March 16, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/person (Reservations required)
Learn the basics of freshwater fishing! Class includes fishing pole basics, casting tips, and freshwater fish identification. All fishing supplies are provided. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and closed-toed shoes that can get wet/muddy.

GEOCACHING BY BIKE
Friday, March 18, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $5/person (Reservations required)
Integrate modern technology with the exploration of nature! This BYOB* activity provides a chance for families to get outside and ride together while participating in the world-wide scavenger hunt called geocaching. Learn how to use a GPS handheld unit or bring a personal smartphone. *Bring your own bike

BUTTERFLY GARDENING
Saturday, March 26, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/person (Reservations required)
Learn all about native butterflies and discover how to attract them with a butterfly garden. Find out which plants are best at attracting a multitude of species and enjoy a guided tour of Daggerwing Nature Center’s butterfly garden.
