All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program.  All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form and COVID-19 Waiver before each program.  

MOTHER NATURE & ME: FIVE SENSES
Tuesday, May 3, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: INSECTS & SPIDERS
Tuesday, May 10, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 5+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about insects and spiders featuring a visit from the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the Glades Road Branch Library! Call the Glades Road Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 482-4554.

INTRO TO ARCHERY 
Saturday, May 14, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join the USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety skills and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range.

MOTHER NATURE & ME: OUTDOOR EXPLORERS
Tuesday, May 17, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)

WETLAND ANIMALS
Saturday, May 21, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required) 
Learn about the animals that live in the wetlands and how they are adapted for life in this habitat. Live collection animals will be featured during the presentation to enhance the educational experience!

ANIMAL KEEPER FOR A DAY
Friday, May 27, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Animal keepers have the coolest job! Work behind the scenes with animal care staff and volunteers to feed, clean exhibits, and provide enrichments to the animals at the nature center. Learn what it takes to care for these special animal ambassadors.
