All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment.  All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form and COVID-19 Waiver before each program.  

MOTHER NATURE & ME: BACKYARD BIRDS
Tuesday, June 7, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

ANIMAL TRIVIA
Friday, June 10, 1:30 p.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Can owls really turn their heads all the way around? Could a turtle crawl out of its shell? Find out the truth about these and other common animal myths while meeting the nature center’s live animals up close!   

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: SNAKES
Tuesday, June 14, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 8+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about snakes featuring a visit from some of the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the West Boca Branch Library! Call the West Boca Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 470-1600.

BUTTERFLY GARDENING
Saturday, June 25, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Learn all about local butterflies and discover how to attract them with a butterfly garden. Find out which plants are best to attract a multitude of species and enjoy a guided tour of Daggerwing Nature Center’s butterfly garden.

ORIENTEERING 
Wednesday, June 29, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join a naturalist and learn how to navigate using a map and compass! Participants will then get to practice the directional skills they learn on a fun, outside adventure course. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and closed-toed shoes.
