At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on May 7, 2024, Commissioner Woodward presented a proclamation declaring May 2024 as Building Safety Month in Palm Beach County. Palm Beach County is committed to recognizing our growth and strength depends on the safety and economic value of the homes, buildings and infrastructure that serve our citizens in everyday life and in times of natural disasters. Building Safety Month promotes the commitment of local and state building departments, fire prevention bureaus and federal agencies to improve building safety in the community and acknowledge the essential service they provide to all of us in protecting lives and property.
