Friends of Daggerwing Nature Center, Inc. (FOD) has awarded the annual Scott Cowan Memorial Scholarship for 2022 to volunteer Christian Robinson.

Christian has been a volunteer at the nature center since 2021, while attending Florida Atlantic University High School and taking a full college course-load through a dual enrollment program with Florida Atlantic University. He plans a career in higher education, pursuing his goal to become a history professor.

“We are delighted to present this year’s scholarship to Christian and grateful for the generosity of our visitors and donors for making it possible for us to make this award for the fifth consecutive year. Our volunteers are an essential part of our effort to provide an exceptional experience for every Daggerwing Nature Center visitor,” said Edith Cowan, FOD President, and mother of Scott Cowan, for whom the scholarship is named.

Scholarship contributions to the Scott Cowan Memorial Fund can be donated to Friends of Daggerwing Nature Center, Inc.
