All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com​; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program.  

MOTHER NATURE & ME: A IS FOR ALLIGATOR
Tuesday, September 6, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

BUGGIN’ BIOBLITZ
Saturday, September 10, 10:30 a.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
September is Parks for Pollinators month! Join us as we celebrate this national campaign with a guided walk through the butterfly garden. We will focus on our native pollinators and the plants they need to survive. We will use the iNaturalist app to help identify the pollinators we find!

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: BIRDS
Tuesday, September 13, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 5+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about birds featuring a visit from the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the Glades Road Branch Library! Call the Glades Road Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 482-4554.

FLORIDA ANIMALS
Saturday, September 17, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Meet live animals that can be found right here in Florida! Learn how these native creatures are adapted to survive in the many habitats found in our home state.

INTRO TO ARCHERY 
Saturday, September 24, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join the USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety skills and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range.

PARKS FOR POLLINATORS BIOBLITZ
September 1-30
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations needed)
Join Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation and parks throughout the country in a fun challenge to see how many pollinator species can be documented this September by making observations on your own using the iNaturalist app. For details, visit www.pbcparks.com
