All programs are by reservation only.  Fee programs require payment at the time of registration/reservation. You can register and pay online at www.pbcparks.com. Please select “Online Services”, choose “Register/Pay for Program” from the drop-down menu, click the “Nature” icon, and then search for the program by name. TRACES AND TRACKS
Saturday, October 8, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
You may not always see wildlife when hiking on a trail, but that does not mean animals are not around. Would you know how to spot the wildlife signs left behind by our scaly, feathery, and furry friends? Come learn all about the traces and tracks left by animals that scientists use to find out what types of wildlife live within our forests. We will be talking about scat, footprints, and more during this presentation. Then, we will take a short nature walk to the outdoor classroom for a raptor pellet dissection! 

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Friday, October 14, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified instructors and learn the basics of archery, from safety to shooting, and develop a great new skill! All equipment is provided. Space is limited.

ADVANCED ARCHERY
Friday, October 14, 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
**Prerequisite: Must have completed Archery for Beginners**
This program is for those already familiar with the basics of archery. Develop your archery skills further as we teach advanced techniques and practice aim and precision. All equipment is provided. Space is limited.

ONC BEHIND THE SCENES
Saturday, October 15, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
The most relaxing part of our day is spent taking care of our animals. Come join us and our nonhuman “co-workers” by taking a tour of where the outdoor animals live when they are off the clock.  

FAMILY OWL PROWL
Friday, October 21, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Ages 6+, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Meet a few of our nocturnal animal ambassadors up-close and learn about other animals that prowl our forest after dark. Then we’ll go outside to look for wildlife and make s’mores around the campfire! 

CREEPY CRITTERS & CRAFTS
Saturday, October 29, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Come dressed up and celebrate Halloween with us by learning about and meeting some of the iconic critters associated with this holiday like bats, owls and arachnids! Families will be thrilled and chilled to learn the truth about these cool critters and everyone will get to make their own creepy craft to bring home with them!
