All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com​; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program.  

MOTHER NATURE & ME: WILD WEBS
Tuesday, November 1, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!

GEOLOGY ROCKS
Saturday, November 5, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)​
Join a naturalist to learn amazing geology facts including how rocks form, the three categories of rocks, and techniques for identification. Through hands-on exploration of beautiful rocks and minerals, participants will discover the wonders of geology!

INTRO TO ARCHERY
Saturday, November 12, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join the USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety skills and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range.

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: SNAKES

Ages 5+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about snakes featuring a visit from some of the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the Glades Road Branch Library! Call the Glades Road Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 482-4554.

FISHING FUN
Wednesday, November 23, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Learn the basics of freshwater fishing! Class includes fishing pole basics, casting tips, and freshwater fish identification. All fishing supplies are provided. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and closed-toed shoes that can get wet/muddy.
