All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com​; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment.  All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program.  

ANIMAL FEEDINGS
Daily, 3:15 p.m. 
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
3:15 p.m. is feeding time! Listen to a short talk about one of Daggerwing’s resident animals and then watch while it’s fed. Wednesday - Owl; Thursday - Snake; Friday - Tortoise; Saturday - Alligator

MOTHER NATURE & ME: DAY AT THE BEACH
Tuesday, January 3, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 2-5 (w/guardian), $4/child (Reservations required)
Get ready to jump and shout with Mother Nature through stories, live animals, activities, and a craft specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers!
 
INTRO TO ARCHERY
Saturday, January 7, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Res-ervations required)
Join the USA Archery and N.F.A.A. certified staff and learn about the exciting sport of archery. This program teaches archery safety skills and proper use of a bow and arrow before practicing on the range.

DAGGERWING VISITS THE LIBRARY: FROGS & TOADS
Tuesday, January 10, 3:30 p.m.
Ages 5+, FREE (Reservations required)
Enjoy a special program about frogs & toads featuring a visit from some of the nature center’s resident animal ambassadors, at the Glades Road Branch Library! Call the Glades Road Branch Library for details and RSVP at (561) 482-4554.

NIGHT HIKE 
Thursday, January 12, 6:00 p.m.
Ages 8+, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Always wondered what Daggerwing’s boardwalk would be like after dark? Learn about nocturnal animals and join a naturalist on a tour of the boardwalk at night!

FOREVER FOSSILS
Saturday, January 14, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Join a naturalist to learn all about the creatures that lived here in Florida long ago. By examining both real and replica fossils, we can find out what it would have been like to live in Florida’s last Ice Age!
