Grand Opening Ceremony: March 18 at 10:00 a.m.
County officials and representatives from Soccer 5 USA will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18 to commemorate the opening of a state-of-the-art small-sided soccer complex at 2520 Lake Worth Road, located between Congress Avenue and Lake Osborne Drive. Players and families interested in soccer are invited to attend to learn more about the facility and services available.
The complex is built on a repurposed softball field and will assist with the re-energizing of the existing complex, with plans to add a miracle field and new concession building. The Soccer 5 complex offers two soccer fields for 5v5 play and four soccer fields for 7v7 play for all ages and abilities.
“We are pleased to partner with Soccer 5 USA to provide this opportunity for healthy, happy living in our community and create a positive place welcoming everyone to play,” said Jennifer Cirillo, Director of Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation.
