All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, and recreation.

LIVE ANIMAL FEEDING PRESENTATIONS
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 3:30 p.m.

ALLIGATOR FEEDING

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Saturday, July 1, 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. 
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified instructors and learn the basics of archery, from safety to shooting, and develop a great new skill! All equipment is provided. Space is limited and sign up now before it fills up!

ONC VISITS THE LIBRARY: NATURE IS “BEE”-UTIFUL
Tuesday, July 11, 3:00-3:45 p.m.
Ages 5+, FREE (Pre-registration required)
Join Okeeheelee Nature Center, in collaboration with Bee Barf Apiaries, at the Royal Palm Branch Library, as we learn all about bees, pollination and the important role bees play in the environment! **Visit or call the Royal Palm Library at 561-790-6030 to pre-register for this program.

SNAKES AROUND THE WORLD
Saturday, July 15, 2:00-3:30 p.m.
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Join us as we celebrate World Snake Day with ONC staff and special guests from the South Florida Herpetological Society to learn about slithery friends from around the world! This hands-on experience will uncover many misconceptions about these legless critters.

WINGS ON WEDNESDAY
Wednesday, July 19, 2:30-3:30 p.m. 
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
This program provides up-close and personal experience with ONC’s raptor ambassadors, including a hawk and two owl species. Join ONC naturalists to learn about raptors’ unique adaptations and get an opportunity to watch our resident Eastern Screech Owl eat her lunch!

ADVANCED ARCHERY**
Saturday, July 29, 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
**Prerequisite: Must have completed Archery for Beginners
This program is for those already familiar with the basics of archery. Develop your archery skills further, as USA Archery certified instructors teach advanced techniques and practice aim and precision. All equipment is provided. Space is limited, so register now before it fills up!
