Paul Connell, Deputy Director for the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department, was recently elected as Secretary by the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials (NACPRO) Board of Directors. NACPRO is a nonprofit professional organization that advances official policies that promote county and regional park, recreation and conservation issues while providing members with opportunities to network, exchange best practices and enhance professional development.
Only current members of the NACPRO Board of Directors can serve as an officer. Mr. Connell will serve as Secretary for a one-year term. NACPRO Board members evaluate and select annual award recipients, develop legislative agenda and serve as liaisons to the National Recreation and Park Association, Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, and the National Association of Counties.
