All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated.  Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, and recreation.

LIVE ANIMAL FEEDING PRESENTATIONS
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 3:30 p.m.

ALLIGATOR FEEDING
Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. 
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)
 
FAMILY OWL PROWL
Tuesday, December 5, 5:30-7:00 p.m. 
Families/all ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Meet some of our nocturnal animal ambassadors up-close and learn about other animals that prowl our forest after dark. Then we’ll go outside to explore the Pine Flatwoods to look and listen for wildlife, with a waxing crescent to light our way!

HOLIDAY CHEERS FOR DEER
Saturday, December 9, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Families/all ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
It’s the holiday season and who better to celebrate with than ONC’s deer family. Come sip hot cocoa, learn about white-tailed deer in Florida, get creative with a holiday-themed craft, and meet the deer of Okeeheelee! 

ONC VISITS THE LIBRARY: TALONS
Tuesday, December 12, 3:00-3:45 p.m.
Ages 5-12, FREE (Pre-registration required**)
Join ONC naturalists and their ambassador raptors at the Wellington Library, including a hawk and owl! You will get to meet two different raptor species and learn about their unique superpowers that make them soar to the top of the food chain! **Visit or call the Wellington Library at 561-790-6070 to pre-register. 

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Wednesday, December 27, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified instructors and learn the basics of archery, from safety to shooting, and develop a great new skill! All equipment is provided. Space is limited, so sign up now before it fills up! 

ADVANCED ARCHERY***
Friday, December 29, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
***Prerequisite: Must have completed Archery for Beginners
This program is for those already familiar with the basics of archery. Develop your archery skills further, as USA Archery certified instructors teach advanced techniques and practice aim and precision. All equipment is provided. Space is limited.
