All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, and recreation.

LIVE ANIMAL FEEDING PRESENTATIONS
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 3:30 p.m. 
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)

ALLIGATOR FEEDING
Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. 
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Tuesday, January 9, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified instructors and learn the basics of archery, from safety to shooting, and develop a great new skill! All equipment is provided. Space is limited, so sign up now before it fills up! 

SUPERSTARS OF THE NIGHT
Tuesday, January 16, 6:00-7:30 p.m. 
Families/all ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Naturalists will lead the group on a hike to search for the superstars of the night– nocturnal animals. Then, participants will get a chance to explore the night sky with telescopes led by our special guest, an astronomy extraordinaire! This program is rain or shine.

ONC VISITS THE LIBRARY: SLITHERING SNAKES
Wednesday, January 17, 3:30-4:15 p.m.
Ages 5-12, FREE (Pre-registration required**)
Join ONC Naturalists at the Greenacres Branch Library, as we learn all about our slithery friends! This hands-on experience will uncover many misconceptions about these legless critters. **Call or visit the Greenacres Library at 561-641-9100 to pre-register for this program.

RAPTOR DAY FOR NATURE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Saturday, January 20, 8:30-10:00 a.m.
Ages 15+, $45/participant (Call 561-938-7705 for tickets and details, limited availability)
Support the Friends of Okeeheelee Nature Center as they host their 9th annual fundraising event. A variety of raptor species will be on display with great lighting and natural backgrounds for optimal photography. Photographers can move at their own pace for the hour and a half session. All proceeds will be used to support nature center animals, exhibits and programs at Okeeheelee Nature Center and are tax deductible. Rain date: Saturday, January 27, 8:30-10:00 a.m.

ADVANCED ARCHERY***
Tuesday, January 30, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
***Prerequisite: Must have completed Archery for Beginners
This program is for those already familiar with the basics of archery. Develop your archery skills further, as USA Archery certified instructors teach advanced techniques and practice aim and precision. All equipment is provided. Space is limited.
