All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under “Online Services” click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the nature center to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. Activities promote environmental awareness, conservation, and recreation. 

LIVE ANIMAL FEEDING PRESENTATIONS
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 3:30 p.m. 
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)

ALLIGATOR FEEDING
Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. 
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Saturday, February 3, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified instructors and learn the basics of archery, from safety to shooting, and develop a great new skill! All equipment is provided. Space is limited, so sign up before it fills up! 

ONC VISITS THE LIBRARY: BIRDS OF PREY
Tuesday, February 6, 3:30-4:15 p.m.
Ages 5-12, FREE (Pre-registration required**)
Join ONC naturalists and their ambassador raptors at the Royal Palm Library, including a hawk and owl! You will get to learn about two native raptor species and learn about their unique superpowers that make them soar to the top of the food chain! **Visit or call the Royal Palm Library at 561-790-6030 to pre-register. 

FAMILY OWL PROWL
Tuesday, February 6, 6:00-7:30 p.m. 
Families/all ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Meet some of our nocturnal animal ambassadors up-close and learn about other animals that prowl our forest after dark. Then we’ll go outside to explore the Pine Flatwoods to look and listen for wildlife, including owls, bats, and more nocturnal critters!

DEER-LY LOVED HEARTS & CRAFTS
Saturday, February 10, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Families/all ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Are you fawned of white-tailed deer? Join us for a heart-filled Valentine’s Day themed craft and an opportunity to meet and greet with the deer of Okeeheelee Nature Center. 

ADVANCED ARCHERY***
Tuesday, February 13, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
***Prerequisite: Must have completed Archery for Beginners
This program is for those already familiar with the basics of archery. Develop your archery skills further, as USA Archery certified instructors teach advanced techniques and practice aim and precision. All equipment is provided. Space is limited, so sign up before it fills up!
