Daggerwing Nature Center benefited by Eagle Scout's Service Project

Body

Local Eagle Scout Bobby Bronchick chose Daggerwing Nature Center as the location for his final Eagle Scout Project, where he built four butterfly houses (one featuring a see-through side to use as an educational tool), a bench, and new garbage bin.

Bobby’s project has benefited the nature center by adding elements that beautify the butterfly garden and add to the education of the visitors.

His contributions can be seen daily from sunrise to sunset. The butterfly garden and nature trails are open daily, sunrise to sunset. The exhibit building is open Wednesday-Friday, 1:00-4:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Daggerwing Nature Center is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and is located in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park at 11435 Park Access Road, off Cain Boulevard between Glades Road and Yamato Road, west of Boca Raton.
