Corinthian Capitals Installed
 |
The salvaged capitals are hoisted into position and carefully set in place. |
The restoration process of the historic County Court House is moving along on schedule. Workers have begun installing the Corinthian capitals on top of the columns--a lengthy and tedious procedure since placement of the capitals has to be very precise. Then, they are secured with pegs and glued for extra strength.
