Strianese Delray Beach Police Department Chief Strianese began his career with the City of Delray Beach Police Department in 1989, working his way up through the ranks and appointed to the position of Chief of Police on July 1, 2008. Chief Strianese earned his Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University in 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1984 from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (230th Session) and the Senior Management Institute for Police, Police Executive Research Forum. He has completed over 2,500 hours of specialized law enforcement training. Chief Strianese’s professional affiliations include the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Florida Police Chiefs Association, Palm Beach County Chiefs of Police Association and FBI National Academy Association. He is also an active member of Rotary International. |
