 Steven Burdelski Senior Supervisory Resident Agent (SSRA) Federal Bureau of Investigation Palm Beach County Resident Agency SSRA Burdelski is the senior supervisory agent for the FBI in Palm Beach County, Florida, and manages the special agent and support personnel activities of the Palm Beach County Resident Agency (PBCRA). In addition to his administrative duties as SSRA, SSRA Burdelski directly supervises the Joint Terrorism Task Force which is responsible for federal investigative and intelligence collection matters relating to International and Domestic Terrorism, the Palm Beach International Airport, and the Port of Palm Beach. SSRA Burdelski is a 1984 graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree. SSRA Burdelski initiated his current twenty-three year law enforcement career in 1985 as a patrolman for the Fairfax County (Virginia) Police Department. In 1987, SSRA Burdelski accepted a position with the Maryland State Police. While a member of the MSP, SSRA Burdelski achieved the rank of Sergeant and served as an instructor at the Maryland State Police Academy as well as an adjunct police instructor at Catonsville Community College. In 1995, SSRA Burdelski was appointed to the FBI at Quantico, Virginia, and, upon successful completion of New Agents Training, was subsequently assigned to the Miami Division. In 1996, SSRA Burdelski was assigned to the PBCRA as a Special Agent responsible for the investigations of violent crimes, narcotics, and organized criminal activities. In 2006, SSRA Burdelski was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent and assigned to supervise the Domestic Terrorism Squad at Miami Headquarters. In September 2007, SSRA Burdelski was assigned to his current position as Senior Supervisory Resident Agent, Palm Beach County Resident Agency, FBI Miami. |
