Dale Armstrong
Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms CJC member since 1998 Dale L. Armstrong currently serves as the Resident Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for the West Palm Beach Field Office. His career with ATF began in 1987 as a Special Agent assigned to the Fort Lauderdale, Florida Field Office. In 1995, Mr. Armstrong was promoted to ATF headquarters in Washington, D.C. to serve as the Firearms Trafficking Section Chief. In this position, he was responsible for administering ATF's illegal firearms trafficking program on a nationwide basis. In addition, he developed training and reference materials for investigators to use during the course of illegal firearms trafficking investigations and he is a certified Federal Court expert witness on the movement of firearms in interstate commerce. Prior to his career with ATF, Mr. Armstrong was a criminal investigator with the United States Customs Service assigned to the Key West, Florida Office of Criminal Enforcement and Marine Operations for one year. Mr. Armstrong was born in Massachusetts and received a B.S. Degree in Political Science from Westfield State College in Westfield, Massachusetts. |
