Weed and Seed is a crime prevention strategy operating in drug-infested, high-crime neighborhoods. While Weed and Seed is a special initiative of the CJC, its Steering Committee serves as the highest governing authority within the structure of the Weed and Seed initiative and meets monthly to maximize the chance that the sites' strategies will be accomplished. Palm Beach County hosts five sites: two "Officially Recognized" (OR) and three graduated.
