CERLIS and NPL:
The
Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Information
System (CERCLIS) database contains general information on sites across the
nation and US territories including location, status, contaminants, and actions
taken. The term "Superfund" refers to sites on the National Priority
List (NPL). Find information on sites being assessed under the Superfund
Program, hazardous waste sites and potential hazardous waste sites, from CERCLIS.
For specific CERCLIS information, search under Florida and then Palm Beach
County at above site or at the website below: www.epa.gov/superfund/sites/cursites/index.htm
For further information on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA)
