RANGE USE REQUIREMENTS


 

At all times, firearm safety rules will be strictly adhered to, and any violation will result in the loss of shooting privileges.

 

All shooters and spectators on the firing line shall be required to have eye protection and ear protection.

 

No open toed shoes allowed.


 
All shooters will execute the County required liability waiver, and show a valid drivers license or Florida identification card.

 

Firearms will be limited to rifles, shotguns, and black powder long guns in calibers generally used for sporting events and hunting. No fully automatic weapons or handguns will be allowed.

 

Restricted ammunition is as follows: No steel core or armor piercing rounds; exploding or incendiary rounds; and no tracer ammunition. Range safety personnel reserve the right to inspect rounds to preserve safety and range integrity.

 

All rifles, shotguns, and black power rifles must be brought to the firing line unloaded and encased.

 

No smoking or eating is allowed on the firing line.

Shooters take note -- 200 yards is now held all day on Sundays.  No 100 yards on Sunday
