  • Use the F5 function key on the top row of your keyboard to save your work order.

  • In any date field, to enter a date for the current month only, type in the DAY. The month and year will default.

MARCH 24, 2001
  • When you bring up a value list in Maximo (Example: Region, Account Billing Code)

Enter the first letter or number of what you are looking for and it will bring you to the correct area of the list.

  • When entering labor from a prior month (same year) type in the day first and then a period and then the month (This tip submitted by Patty Smith).

Example: 20.2 - This would be February 20, 2001

  • If your Work Orders are set up by equipment number, right click on the equipment number and select "View Work Orders and Pms". This will list all of your work orders for that piece of equipment.

  • To view Purchase Order information that has been posted to a work order, click on Actions (top of the Maximo screen) and then click on View PO Information.

  • To learn more about a specific field in Maximo use the F1 function key. This does not apply to extra fields that we created (example: Region, Billing Account, etc.)
