Car Seat/Child Passenger Safety Seat Checks

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue provides free Child Passenger Safety Seat checks. Appointments are scheduled at various fire rescue facilities and other locations throughout the county. Please call Palm Beach County Fire Rescue 5616167033 to schedule an appointment.

96% of all car seats are installed improperly! At the mobile fitting station certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will check you child's car seat for proper installation, safety and recall status, and provide education. Make sure your child is riding safe!

When calling to schedule your appointment, please have the following information:

  • Age and weight of child
  • Make, model and year of the vehicle
  • Manufacturer, name and model number of the car seat

    • You must bring your child, car seat, and vehicle to the appointment.
    Please bring the User's Manuals for both vehicle and car seat.
