Diagram showing the relative dimensions and location of the banner. The east wall of the six-story Training Tower will proudly display a 20' x 30', full-color, commercial-grade banner between the 2nd and 4th floor (rough estimate) exterior. Above the banner will be a fixed sign with "Palm Beach County Fire Rescue".

All members of Fire-Rescue are encouraged to submit their original drawings based on what they believe they would like the Tower Banner to look like. Members will compete for the final design of the banner in a department-wide competition that runs for the entire month of August! The winning entry will inspire the final banner.

Any banners submitted should not include the department name in the drawing. Use of the department seal is encouraged, but not required in the final drawing. Selections will be made based on the drawings that best honor the heritage of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue while embracing the courage and valor of all those serving in the fire service.

The Tower Banner Project is a way for all of us to enhance our sense of ownership within our Department! Please submit your drawings via interoffice envelope to Lt. Doug McGlynn, Battalion 9/A Shift, or electronically as an e-mail attachment with the subject "Fire-Rescue Tower Banner Contest". Lt. McGlynn's e-mail address is dmcglynn@pbcgov.org.

Look for more updates and info on our Project Pride Website in the coming weeks.

GOOD LUCK!
