Tim Calhoun is the Fleet Director for Support Services, and has been involved in fleet maintenance since 1989. He has worked with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue since 1998 as both Support Services Supervisor and now as Director of the Fleet. Prior to joining PBCFR, he worked with Florida Power Light in their automotive engineering department, and with the City of Boynton Beach as a Fleet Administrator.

The Support Services division of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is composed of 5 (five) sections which include:

Fleet and Apparatus Maintenance

This section is responsible for coordinating the maintenance and records keeping of the Repair Shop, Preventative Maintenance Shop, Road Technicians and 24 hour On-Call Technicians. Fleet and Apparatus Maintenance is also responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repairs to all Medical Response, Structural, Aerial, Brush and Aircraft Rescue FireFighting (ARFF) apparatus.
SCAB Maintenance and Support
The Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Shop repairs, test, and maintains all of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue's SCBA, supplied air breathing apparatus, breathing air cylinders and face pieces.
Medical and Supplies Warehouse
The Support Services warehouse stores and delivers to fire stations bulk medical supplies for use in emergency response situations.
Facilities and Capital Projects
The Capital Projects Coordinator is in charge of the planning, organization, coordination and directing all aspects of building and facilities construction, renovation and maintenance.
Radio and Communications Shop
The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Radio and Communications Shop is responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of the VHF (Tac) and UHF (Command) radios, AVL, and Traffic Preemption (mobile side) as well as repair of the department's numerous pagers and cellular/PCS phones.
