The Capital Projects Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and directing all aspects of building and facilities contruction, renovation and maintenance.

The Facilities Service Section is responsible for station and grounds maintenance to all of the county Fire-Rescue stations and other buildings. These services include:

• plumbing
• painting
• irrigation
• electrical
• air conditioning
• carpentry
• appliance repair

On large station maintenance or renovation projects, the service of the county's Procurement and Project Implementation Group are utilized.

Maintenance of over 210,000 square feet of fire station, with over 1,300 work orders each year is performed by selected vendor's, two Maintenance Mechanics and a Contract Evaluator. The Secretary is responsible for the payment of the invoices and other projects.
