The ISS Database Administration Services (DBA) group is charged with establishing and maintaining database and related technologies for Palm Beach County.
This responsibility includes the installation, maintenance, operation, monitoring and tuning of the County's database management systems (DBMS), Oracle Application Servers and Oracle OID (LDAP) Servers, as well as, the backup and recovery of application databases.
We also provide database technical support and data modeling services to ISS developers and ISS customers in the design, development, testing and implementation of both internally developed and vendor provided applications. This includes Constitutional Officers and other agencies external to the Board of County Commissioners upon request.
We have a highly trained and experienced DBA staff averaging over 10 years of technical experience with a variety of database management systems, including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Support is provided 7 X 24 x365.
