World Lupus Day

Commissioner McCarty sponsored a countywide proclamation declaring World Lupus Day to be commemorated on May 10th, 2006, and presented it to (l to r), Leslie Anne Carter, Executive Director of the Lupus Foundation of America, S.E. Florida Chapter; John P. Apgar, V.P. of Mellon United National Bank; Commissioner McCarty, and Anne Bright, Chairwoman of the S.E. Florida Lupus Chapter.
