Commissioner Tours New Golf Course Site

On May 15, 2006, Commissioner Newell met with residents of the Bellaggio Homeowners Association to take a tour of a new County golf course.  Construction of the Park Ridge Golf Course, located on the old Lantana Landfill, is moving along on schedule.  Grassing has begun, and the course is expected to open in October.

The golf course, located just west of Lyons Road on Lantana Road, is an 18-hole regulation course on 180 acres that include a 75-foot elevation on part of the course, some native areas and a lake. Plans include a club house, pro shop, concessions, restrooms and some offices.
