Beginning July 1, pet owners can receive a $100 voucher towards the cost of spaying or neutering their dogs and cats. Contact Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control for voucher information and a list of veterinarians.
The Voucher Program is only for:
- pet owners who are on public assistance and are Palm Beach County residents
- dogs and cats in Palm Beach County
The program also offers free rabies vaccinations, license tags and microchipping at Animal Care and Control for the pets of qualified owners.
This is a valuable service that helps save the lives of dogs and cats and encourages residents to become responsible pet owners. Veterinarians in Palm Beach County are working with Animal Care and Control to help curb the pet overpopulation problem.
